I recently found myself in the Twilight Zone, responding to two cold sales pitches that I was interested in for my business, only to be greeted by the abyss of non-responsiveness.

When my LinkedIn feed is FILLED with complaints about subpar communication and the frustration of receiving unwanted cold outreach, it's just plain weird to see genuine responses ignored and prospecting sales people not following through.

The essence of effective sales lies in striking when the iron is hot. Time really is 'of the essence'. Yet, there seems to be a growing legion of sales professionals who miss this crucial memo. Opportunities slip away, not due to lack of interest, but because the response time had died a death and guess what? the lead has gone cold.
